Here are the first 3 installments of photo updates for this, my latest undertaking.
However, it's a small watercolor, so it shouldn't take a great deal of
time to finish. The painting features Angels prospect, Brandon
Wood -- who just so happened to hit 43 home runs last season. The
photo is from his appearance in the All-Star Futures Game, last season
in Detroit. |

As I'm sure you can tell, these are
the latest photos of this watercolor painting. And, things are
progressing fairly well. I'm hoping to possibly finish another
watercolor in the next month or so, as well -- of a yet to be determined
baseball player. I'm leaning towards either Huston Street or Jay
Bruce...but nothing is "set in stone" of yet. Feel free
to click on a picture to see an enlarged version of the photo. |

Final Product Below!

The painting is nearing completion
after one day, but the finishing touches will have to wait for another
day. Thus far, everything has went fairly well. There are
still a lot of small details to add, as well as a great deal of minor
shading to take care of...but, shouldn't take too much longer!
Thanks for checking it out!

Well, as you can see, I've finally
finished this watercolor painting. I've had a lot of other things
going on of late, so I've been unable to finish it until
today.
And, now that you've seen the
finished product, below, you can see the autographed original,
now that's it's returned from Houston, where, thanks to Tri-Star
Productions, Brandon Wood signed the
painting!

Pictured, at left, is the watercolor
Mr. Wood signed, and, at right, is the same watercolor, pictured with
the baseball Brandon signed, as well.
With such a dark background, I
went with the favorite of mine -- the metallic silver sharpie
marker. Always looks great on a dark background.
