Artist's Notes:
This painting features Dexter "The Blade" Jackson, world-renowned professional bodybuilder.
As you can see in Photos #1 & #2, I've completed all the necessary pre-paint drawing, and am ready to start adding the oil paint to get things rolling.
In Photos #3-5, you can see the painting progress from some initial background, as well as some initial coloring on the left side of his body, to some rather detailed shading and coloring throughout the painting.
In Photos #6-9, I've started to add a lot of fine detail. I've basically finished all the detail for the lower portion of his body, and will start focusing more on his facial details and shading moving forward. There are still some "highlights" to add to his legs once the paint dries on those areas, plus, I'm still not completely finished with the detail and shading on his arms, hands, and chest.
