"Lake Shore Kinda View" - Acrylic Paint / 16x20 / 2003 |
1/3 of the Chicago Collection |
This was the first installment of the "Chicago Collection" - named "Lake Shore Kinda View" because the picture was taken from Lake Shore Drive, in downtown Chicago. It's a painting of the Hancock Building, and I was very happy with how it turned out. The picture at left is a close-up of the bottom right of the painting, in the park area where people were walking around. The 2nd picture, at right, is a bit of a closer view of the final product. I added a lot of detail to all the buildings, but I'm very picky that way. I enjoy making everything I paint look as close to a picture as I can. I want them to look very realistic. |

These two pictures are full-size pictures of the final product. They're basically the same picture, but I figured I'd toss them both in there, since I'd be wasting a table box there, and we can't have that, now can we? Well, without further ado...here's a link back to the "Chicago Collection" page. |
