Artist's Notes
This painting features the New York Mets superstar third baseman, David Wright.
I will be donating this original painting to the David Wright Foundation, and it is to be auctioned off for charity at their "Las Vegas Night" event on June 25th in New York City.
In the first couple of photos, you can see all the pre-paint drawing that I've done. I tried to put in a little more detail than normal, just to make the painting process a little easier.
In some of the latest photos #'d 3 & 4, you can see I've started to add a great deal of the base color and shading to his face and uniform. I've also started to add the background elements, as well as a lot of color and shading to his bat and uniform. It's coming along very nicely so far.
